One important thing my interns learned was on tea processing in our local tea factory.
Tea processing involves various processes namely; Withering, CTC, fermentation, Firing/Drying and then sorting and grading.
Buy Kenyan tea whenever you can. That way you support small scale farmers from various parts of Kenya but most importantly it is great quality tea.
Broken Pekoe (BP1) is the best quality, PF1 - Pekoe fannings - follows and it is the most common tea grade.
My internship program was a big success. I look forward to future interns and showcasing the negatives of net zero agriculture and living and why we need to # Just Stop Toil!
From my recent video, I have received some aid to get two families connected to the grid. We will be working on that as from next week.
If you want to help with clean cooking or enable a family or two have access to the national grid electricity, or a bigger project like helping drill a borehole in the next village, please feel free to contact me here.
Thank you for being here. If you want to support my work, you may buy me 🍍🍍🍍
Thank you and I hope you're enjoying your new year.
I am enjoying Kericho Gold premium Kenya tea I bought on Amazon.com. It is very smooth and flavorful.
